Empress Alessia I Paravant, also known as the Usurper Queen and Slave-Queen, was the first human ruler of Cyrodiil after the success of her Slave Rebellion against the Ayleid Empire. She was the founder of the Paravant dynasty of Cyrodiil, known at the time as 'Cyrod'. She was also the founder of the Faith of the Eight, combining elements of the old gods of the Nords, and Alvarlism to form a religion capable of unifying her new, disperse, and unstable empire.
