Crownlands

The Crownlands, also called the Crownland, are one of the constituent regions of the Summerset Archipelago on the continent of Tamriel. Unlike the other regions of Alinor, the lords of the Crownlands are not sworn to a High Kinlord, but are rather sworn directly to the king on the Marble Throne.

The demonym used for its inhabitants is 'crownlander'.

The Crownlands are ruled from the city of Alinor by House Telarion. Notable Houses have included Arana, Dorenis, Neiaron, and Parnon.

Behind the Scenes

The name of the Crownlands is derived from the real-life term 'crown land', which refers to the royal demesne of a given monarch.
