The Divine Prosecution are knights inquisitor tasked by the Marble Throne to investigate and punish threats across Alinor, occasionally even sacrilegious behaviour. They are officially a branch of the Thalmor, though in practice they often operate independently from one another; the Divine Prosecution has its own representative on the high council, and has deep-seeded connections with the Church, of which it used to be a militant branch.
