Ellisar Dorenis was the head of House Dorenis and Lord of Cey-Tarn during Aerel's Invasion, fighting to repel the Arana invaders from the Summerset Archipelago. He eventually died in battle against the Arana gryphons.
History[]
Ellisar was born in 1E 136 to Lord Theodas Dorenis and Erinia Heifir.
Ellisar fought against the invading Aranas during Aerel's Invasion, fighting alongside his liege King Coreriil III Arana during the Battle of Blue Fields. During the battle, Ellisar commanded a significant section of the Arana forces, though was overwhelmed by the might of the Arana gryphons, which wreaked havoc upon his forces. Thousands died at the hands of the gryphons, including Ellisar himself.
Upon hearing word of his death, Ellisar's daughter and heir, Ilyana Dorenis, took command of the garrison of their ancestral seat of Cey-Tarn, preparing to mount a desperate defence of her home. However, she would eventually be made an offer of mercy if she bent the knee, which she reluctantly accepted, thus sparing the life of her family.
