Elorne is one of the constituent regions of the Summerset Archipelago on the continent of Tamriel. It used to be a sovereign nation before the Arana unification, after which it formed part of the Kingdom of Summer and Sea. Following Aerel's Invasion Elorne was united into the Summerset Isles along with the rest of the archipelago.
The demonym used for its inhabitants is 'elornishmen' or 'elornishwomen'. It is common for people to shorten this in coloquial speak to 'lornishmen and 'lornishwomen.
Elorne is ruled from the city of Shimmerene by House Liaren. Notable Houses have included X, X, X, X, and X.
