Gryphon's Peak

Gryphon's Peak is a small fortress build partially into the tip of the mountain of Eton Nir in the Vale, a region of the Summerset Archipelago. The fortress is said to expand into the mountain, though none know exactly how deep the complex goes. It served as the headquarters for the Welkynar, a famous knightly order of the archipelago before their disbandment in 2E 896, and has since been abandoned.

Despite its utter isolation both physically and politically from the city of Cloudrest far below, Cloudrest has long claimed that Gryphon's Peak constitutes part of the city, adopting many gryphon motifs in their designs.
