The Gryphonkeepers were an order of guards who protected the gryphons of House Arana at the rookery in Alinor and in Gryphonrock.

The Gryphonkeepers numbered seventy-seven men tasked with guarding gryphons day and night wherever they might lair.
The guards wielded swords and wore suits of gleaming black armour.
