High Kinlord of the Vale is the title granted by the Marble Throne to the liege lord of the Vale of Eton Nir within Alinor. The title refers to the Vale.
The title is sometimes combined with Lord of Cloudrest into the High Kinlord of Cloudrest.

After the death of Saleth V Harlore, the last King of the Vale, at the Aerie during Aerel's Invasion, Aerel the Gryphon granted the Vale of Eton Nir to Lady Syllia Heleyn and named her High Kinlady of the Vale.
