House Aeldaris is a keep located on a small island that constitutes part of Artaeum. It was the seat of House Aeldaris, the Altmeri noble family from which the castle derives its name. Since the extinction of House Aeldaris in 4E XX, the castle has gone without a legal ruler and is no longer considered a territory of Alinor. The Psijic Order continue to care for the castle, but it has largely fallen into disuse.
