Housemen is a term used by the Ashlander tribes of Morrowind to refer to those dark elves who make up "civilised society", that is, who belong to any of the Great Houses. It is intended to be disparaging, as the Ashlanders look down upon the "civilised" way of life of their Dunmeri cousins.
