The Jade Throne is the seat of the king of Pellitine, and is often used as a metonymic device to refer to the king's authority or to refer to the polity itself. The king often holds audiences and dispenses justice from atop it in Senchal's castle.
The throne is made entirely out of jade, a gemstone found throughout southern Elsweyr.
