Knights inquisitor are knights tasked by their respective thrones to investigate and punish threats.
History[]
During the Three Banners War King Emeric I Cumberland of Wayrest created the Lion Guard, an organisation of knights inquisitor which quickly expanded to recruit from all the various kingdoms of the Second Daggerfall Covenant. After the war had concluded, the organisation had grown too bloated to effectively sustain, and the conflicting loyalties of its disparate membership tore the organisation apart.

On the Summerset Archipelago the knights inquisitor are known as the Divine Prosecution, which investigate and punish unlawful, and even sacrilegious, behaviour.
