Leviathans, are large swamp-dwelling reptiles. They are rarely ever seen anymore, leaving some to believe that they have either gone extinct, or only dwell within the deepest parts of Black Marsh.
Range
Leviathan skeletons have been found across central Black Marsh, the deepest, densest, and darkest part of the swampland. They have never been spotted outside of the swamps of south-eastern Tamriel, even in historical accounts. It is believed by some scholars that due to the lack of recent sightings they have gone extinct, or now only dwell within the deepest parts of Black Marsh where no one dares to travel.
