The lord inquisitor or lady inquisitor is the king of Alinor's spymaster and is a member of the high council in the monarchy of Alinor. He or she is charged with gathering intelligence from Eldarhall, Alinor, around the Summerset Archipelago, across the Abecean Sea, and other places. Unlike the other positions of the high council, this title wasn't created by a king, but rather by Lord Tranian Rilis while he served as Warden of the Isles under the minority of Anumaril I Arana.
History[]
Rhaethen Arana, the youngest sister of King Aerel I Arana, served unofficially as the Marble Throne's spymaster throughout the reign of Daethen I, and was granted the title of lady inquisitor during the reign of Anumaril I by Tranian Rilis, the Warden and Protector of the Isles at the time.
