Marble Throne

The Marble Throne is the seat of the king of Alinor, and is often used as a metonymic device to refer to the king's authority or to the polity born after Aerel's Invasion. The king often holds audiences and dispenses justice from atop it in Eldarhall's throne room, the Hall of the Ancestors. The chair was built by Altmeri and Ayleid artisans to serve as the seat of power for the Kings of the Summerset Isles following Aerel's Invasion.

Only the Warden of the Isles (or Ayrenn I's Proxy Queen) has the authority to sit on the throne in the monarch's absence.
