Quiston Vierniss was a member of House Vierniss during the time of the Three Banners War. He was a secret worshipper of the Daedric Prince Meridia and frequented the secluded Kilkreath Temple.
Appearance and Character[]
Quiston was a well-built man who often trained at the sword. His skin was much paler than most and had copper hair.
After the corruption of the Kilkreath Temple, Quiston was among those who remained faithful to their goddess, believing that she had intervened by saving the lives of the survivors.
History[]
In 2E 588 the Kilkreath Temple was beset by terrible curse that turned its inhabitants into vampiric beasts. Of the temple's meager members, very few survived. Quiston was among those that escaped death, though the terrible atrocities the survivors witnessed was enough to put their faith into question, as their goddess did not stop the ravaging of her temple. As others left their faith and the temple, Quiston remained stalwart in his beleif, claiming that Meridia had done what she could and spared their lives from the curse.
After the unfaithful left the temple, Quiston and the remaining faithful did what they could to salvage Meridian texts and artefacts, though as the temple was sealed they could not venture back inside. They eventually left the temple was well, though carried with them their faith to spread elsewhere. It is believed that Quiston remained in Skyrim after leaving the temple.
