Year 582 of the Second Era[]
The year 2E 582 marked the end of the Planemeld crisis, which had ravaged all of Tamriel since 2E 578. Molag Bal was defeated by the Five Companions and his invasion was foiled by the combined force of the Mages Guild and Fighters Guild, along with divine aid from the Daedric Prince Meridia. During 2E 582 the Three Banners War continued to rage in Cyrodiil, and the instability on the continent resulted in many lesser conflicts, wars, and conspiracies.
Year 601 of the Second Era[]
The year 2E 601 marked the end of the Three Banners War, which had raged since 2E 580. Queen Ayrenn I Arana was slain by her X Eridion Aeldaris, and the Aldmeri Dominion collapsed thereafter, prompting the first trans-Tamrielic Great Council which formally ended the Three Banners War by declaring a ceasefire after the events of Ayrenn I's bloody conquest through Cyrodiil.
