The Shadow is a constellation. It is composed of five bright stars that form the shape of a man's shadow.

The Shadow burns the brightest in the sky during the month of Second Seed. It is a common superstition among some cultures of Tamriel to believe that those born under the Shadow are more deceptive and secretive.
The Shadow is considered to be the charge of the Thief constellation, tasked with defending him from the wrath of the Serpent.
