The Summerset Archipelago, sometimes referred to as the Summerset Isles[N 1], is one of the nine regions of Tamriel, the largest of the known continents of Nirn. All the area of the Summerset Archipelago is covered by a political entity known as Alinor, which leads the greater political entity known as the Aldmeri Dominion. The closest foreign nation to the Summerset Archipelago is the Bosmeri Kingdom in Valenwood. To the south of the archipelago lies Pyandonea, and to its northwest lies the Thrassian Archipelago.
Geography[]
The Summerset Archipelago is composed of dozens of islands, though the largest two are the Summerset Isle and Auridon. The island of Artaeum used to be a part of the archipelago, its few lords being sworn to the King of Auridon in the days of old. However, after the Psijic Order transported their island to an unknown pocket dimension, the island is no longer considered part of the archipelago.
