How you can contribute[]
Improve pages[]
These are some basic ways that you can improve the site:
- Fix errors such as grammar or spelling mistakes. Large quantities of small fixes can greatly improve the quality of the wiki.
- Expand and Improve: Many articles can be expanded and improved upon. You could roam the site looking for articles that you feel are too vague, missing information, or need re-wording of sentences and paragraphs so that they would be more understandable. If you notice information that is missing from an article, add it. You could also expand upon Stubs, which are articles that have not received substantial attention from other editors and do not have a sufficient amount of information.
Additionally you can:
- Write a new article: Have we missed a character, location or anything else? You should add it. Also see the Wanted list. If there are a lot of pages that link to an empty page, you may want to create it.
- Add Images: There are many artworks, screenshots, maps, and other images that would help to make articles more informative. See Help:Images on how you can add and use Images.
- Format pages: If you're good with Wiki markup and/or Help:Templates, you can look for pages that need to be improved visually.
Adding Links:
- Link pages: Add links to Orphaned pages
Maintenance:
- Flag pages: Locate and mark pages that need expanding, Cleanup/Improvement and/or are Outdated.
- Sorting out the images: Our uncategorised images needs to be sorted out. Images need to be added to the category page of the artist who made the picture and the category page of the character who is depicted in it. For instance if an images is made by the artist X you can add it to "Category:Images by X" by adding [[Category:Images by X]]. After the images has been added to the right category please remove its link to the Category:Character Images.
Helping the Community[]
- Monitoring Articles: You can monitor the recent changes and/or watch articles, to catch and fix mistakes.
- Helping Other Users: Many users don't know some of the ways they can help on the wiki. You could help them out by sharing with them some of your knowledge, and encouraging them to get active and find something to start editing. Check out the Questions page.
