The trade talk or trade tongue is the language of the wharves and docks and sailor's taverns. It a coarse jumble of words and phrases from a dozen languages, accompanied by hand signs and gestures, most of them insulting. Trade talk is most influenced by the Common Tongue, which was spread throughout Tamriel by the Second and Third Empires.
