The White-Gold Knights were a knightly order formed by King Anumaril Arana of Abagarlas to protect seven pieces of the Staff of Towers, the eighth being kept by Anumaril himself. Each of the seven knights were tasked with one piece of the staff and sent to the far reaches of Tamriel so as to keep their respective fragment safe.
Little is known of the mysterious order, though some legends claim the descendants of the original seven knights protect their staff fragments to this day, and secretly keep connections to maintain their sacred knightly order.
